The Pharaoh was the title given to the rulers of anchient Egypt.Pharaoh literally means Great House
and referred to the palace the ruler lived in.The Pharaoh was both a political and a religious leader.He
owned all the land ,ruled over the army and made all the laws.As high priest the Pharaoh was God's
representative on Earth.Little is known of the Pharaohs of the earlier dynasties but the monuments
they left behind are some of the wonders of the anchient world.
