The Simple 7 Step Guide To Picking A Costume For A Halloween Party

Halloween is getting close and I bet there are still lots of people out there not knowing what to dress up as? Well here are some simple rules to picking a costume, and some simple costume ideas:

What are your interest? sports? movies? the 17th century? This is always the best place to start,  nothing says you more that your favourite singer, band or movie star.

Dont forget where you will be, a crowed warm bar might call for something light, where as a cold winters night might call for something heavy, remember to be creative with accessories and layers which can be added or removed.

Never forget that you can always pick something simple, a splash of face paint here, a well placed prop and accessory there, and your ready to hit the parties.

Classic Halloween costumes are all well and good, but lots of costumes can be turned into a perfect gory Halloween costume. A scary cheerleader? or a goth fairy? or even a happy devil?

In complete contrast to the first point above, go as something out of your character, someone who you dislike. A political figure, a movie star, or your most hated singer.

What kind of establishment will you be dressing up in? If you will be having a quite party in friends house, then a high quality costume shouldn’t be ruled out you might want to consider hiring a costume. If on the other hand you plan to enjoy your party a crowded establishment then for peace of mind a simple bought costume might be best
