Sizes
CostumeCorner.ie try to provide accurate descriptions of all costume sizes.
However, each costume manufacturer have their own different sizing technique. So please double check the size of your particular costume.
We do our best to measure each costume!
If you are wondering how to measure,just grab a tape and see below;
(if you don't have have a measuring tape, just use a piece of string and a ruler)
For Men: Chest, Waist, and Inseam
For Women: Bust, Waist, and Hips
For Children: Height and Waist
Women;
Bust--
Measure around the shoulder blades, under the armpits and over the fullest part of the bust.
Waist--
Find your natural waistline and measure.
Hips--
Measure the fullest part of the hip (usually about 7-9 inches below the waist)
Men;
Chest--
Lay out a jacket that fits you best. Lie it flat, with buttons etc, closed.
Measure from armpit to armpit. Double this number to get the chest measurement. (see photo below)
Or;
Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding tape firm and level.
Trouser Waist --
Open the Trousers and lay the measuring tape all the way around the inside of the waist. Measure only to the button or clasp, not to the edge of the fabric.
Or;
Measure around your natural waistline
Inseam --
This is the measurement from the crotch straight down to the end of the leg.
